JOHANNESBURG - Oscar Pistorius may soon be a free man.
His parole hearing gets underway this Friday.
It has been over 10 years since he shot and killed his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day.
He says he thought she was an intruder when he shot her through a bathroom door.
Pistorius is serving 13 years for the murder.
But he will argue that having served more than half of his sentence, he's eligible for parole.
