JOHANNESBURG - Police are still searching for the gun linked to the alleged assassination attempt on Brown Mogotsi.
This is according to police spokesperson, Brigadier Athlenda Mathe.

The political fixer appeared before the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court on Monday. His matter has been postponed until 25 May to verify his address.
According to Mogosti's lawyer, William Sekgatja, the police were given his business address in March. He conceded that they could not verify his residential address.
The police have not ruled out the possibility that Mogotsi acted with accomplices.

"This is an opportunity for Mr Mogotsi to cooperate with police and tell us what really happened," said Mathe.
The police also want to know why he staged the alleged assassination on his own life.
