Poll ranks Mbeki as most favourable leader

JOHANNESBURG - An eNCA election survey has found former president Thabo Mbeki to be the most popular leader for voters ahead of May's general elections.

Mbeki ranked at 53%, while President Cyril Ramaphosa and his predecessor, Jacob Zuma got a similar percentage of 41%.

Political analyst Sanet Madonsela says people miss what the country was under Mbeki's leadership.
