PRETORIA - Rand Water is scheduled to undertake major planned maintenance from Thursday to Monday next week.
Tshwane residents, who are already in the grips of a water crisis, are especially dreading this added disruption.
Successive pipe bursts have left them without water since last Wednesday.

All this is happening just before Rand Water undertakes critical maintenance on key supply infrastructure.
The 107-hour project is scheduled to begin on Thursday morning, and complete the following Monday evening.
