JOHANNESBURG - The police has reinforced the security detail of President Cyril Ramaphosa and his deputy, Paul Mashatile.
It follows the shooting of Mashatile's convoy in Boksburg, a few weeks ago.
Police say a high-level investigation is underway, with a ballistics report already concluded.

The Crime Intelligence division conducts regular risk and threat assessments on the president and his deputy.
National police commissioner, Fannie Masemola, assures the nation that the executive is in safe hands.
He says presidential security personnel are highly trained and experienced.
