It will bring more heavy rains and strong winds to coastal areas on Tuesday.

But, disaster management doesn't expect the storm to be as bad as previous ones.

"So we've been able to do quite a lot which has protected the province from the third and fourth cold fronts which hit us, and then we have been informed by the weather service that there will still be some bad weather on the way," said Colin Deiner.

"We are not expecting them to have the impact that they had over the last week or so, but however, we're still on high alert, there are still areas that are saturated.

"There are areas that have been compromised winds so that is where we're really focusing now."
