SA aims to become Africa's leading nuclear powerhouse

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa is aiming to become the leading nuclear force in Africa.

Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa was speaking at a Nuclear Energy Conference in Durban.

It was on the sidelines of the fourth G20 Energy Transitions Working Group.

The conference explored development opportunities through the peaceful use of nuclear power.
