JOHANNESBURG - A group of about a dozen civil society organisations have lambasted Donald Trump, for his serious allegations about South Africa.
The US President claimed, without proof, that the country is confiscating land and treating certain people very badly.
He has threatened to cut off future funding.
The organisations which include Ahmed Kathrada, Desmond Tutu foundations and Defend Our Democracy, say Trump's allegations are absurd and dangerous.
The US president's remarks prompted a response from government and saw the rand taking a massive knock.
