PRETORIA - The SA Institute of Chartered Accountants is lamenting the death of Ekurhuleni municipal auditor, Mpho Mafole.
He was shot and killed on Monday.
Mafole was just three months into the job and investigating R2-billion missing from the municipality's coffers.
SAICA CEO Patricia Stock says they are urging law enforcement agencies to work swiftly and bring the perpetrators to account.
