JOHANNESBURG - Lawrence Mudzinganyama has been released on a warning.
Mudzinganyama handed himself over at the Randburg Police Station and is expected back in court on 1 October.
This came after a video showing him allegedly threatening women at an upmarket Sandton restaurant went viral.
He has since apologised for his behaviour, calling it unacceptable and unjustifiable.

Police said they are gathering all available evidence before submitting the docket to the Senior Public Prosecutor for a decision on prosecution.
Acting Police Minister Firoz Cachalia has also called for Mudzinganyama’s immigration status to be checked.
Moriel Infrastructure Group, where Mudzinganyama was chairman and director, has severed ties with him.
