SA's electricity crisis | DA to challenge Eskom tariff hike

Opposition to Eskom's tariff hike continues. The DA files papers in court, rejecting this move, as well as blackouts.

JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance has filed court papers to interdict the implementation of the 18 percent tariff increase by the National Energy Regulator.

Eskom will get just over 18 percent for the 2023/24 financial year, and a further 12.74 percent increase for 2024/2025.
