KWAMHLANGA, Mpumalanga - In a shocking turn in the case of missing journalist Aserie Ndlovu and his partner, Zodwa Mdhluli, police have arrested a trusted acquaintance of the Ndlovu family.
The man is an e-hailing driver and regularly provided transport services to the family.
Four other suspects have also been arrested.
In a push for answers, the National Press Club has doubled the reward for information to R100 000, hoping it will yield a tip that leads to the missing couple.
The suspects are expected to appear in the KwaMhlanga Magistrateās Court on Friday.
Meanwhile, police, media and loved ones hold out hope that Ndlovu and Mdhluli will be returned safely.
