Slain e-hailing driver's body goes home

SOWETO - The body of e-hailing driver Mthokozisi Mvelase is being taken home to Ulundi in KwaZulu-Natal.

Fellow drivers are escorting his remains from Johannesburg.

Family members went to the crime scene in Soweto to collect his spirit.

The 27-year-old Mvelase was shot dead outside Maponya Mall last month, just days after starting his new job.

His car was set alight in what’s suspected to be taxi-related violence.
