JOHANNESBURG- Taxi association SANTACO says it will pay for all funeral costs for slain e-hailing driver Mthokozisi Mvelase.
The 27-year-old was shot and killed, before torched in his car last week outside Maponya Mall in Soweto.

SANTACO President Motlabane Tsebe's plans are under way to have Mvelase's remains transported back home to KwaZulu-Natal from Gauteng.
He emphasised that the law must deal harshly with criminality in this industry, to ensure that there is no repeat of this incident.
In the meantime, Tsebe pledges that SANTACO will play its part in cultivating a peaceful co-existence between taxis and e-hailing operators.
