GERMISTON - Over 400 residents evicted from the Pharoe Park flats maintain that they were unaware of a court order granting their removal.
The City of Ekurhuleni on Tuesday carried out the operation, citing illegal occupation of the property.
However, some residents insist they had valid lease agreements, subsidies, and receipts proving payment.
