JOHANNESBURG - Eskom continues to lose its monopoly status as the only provider of energy.
Electricity and Energy Minister, Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, has officially unveiled updated rules for network charges for third-party energy transportation.

It’s also known as the wheeling framework.
Essentially private energy companies will be charged to transport electricity over the national grid to supply their end cusomers.
The Electricity and Energy Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa discussed this with eNCA.
