GERMISTON - Two people arrested for allegedly torching the Home Affairs office in Germiston are expected in court this morning.
They were part of a violent protest linked to the eviction of residents from the nearby Pharoe Park residential complex.

More than 400 families were removed from the block of flats as part of the City of Ekurhuleni’s plan to reclaim the CBD.
The suspects are charged with vandalism, defying a court order, and damage to property.
