PRETORIA - COGTA minister Velenkosini Hlabisa has ruled out the possibility, of extending the deadline for spaza shop registration.
The deadline was extended last year to the 28 of February 2025.
The drive is one of the solutions by government to address food safety. Over 20 children have died from suspected food poisoning, after eating snacks bought from spaza shops.
