Victory for dismissed City of Joburg workers

JOHANNESBURG - The City of Joburg says it will comply with a High Court order to reinstate fired workers.

The court found the termination of employment contracts of 130 employees was unlawful.

They were dismissed after it was found their contracts were converted from fixed-term to permanent in 2021.
