JOHANNESBURG - Did murder accused Mathipandile Sotheni lie to the court when he claimed not to know legal representative Eric Bryer?
eNCA has seen evidence of a power of attorney to Bryer, signed by Sotheni.
In court, Sotheni showed frustration when he denied knowing his lawyer.

He protested that he was seeing Bryer for the first time but documents bearing Sotheni’s name, signature, employer and work address indicate that he consulted Bryer on 18 March.
He also signed a bail application affidavit giving Bryer the mandate to represent him.
