Zuma bid not grounds for step-aside rule - ANC Electoral Committee Secretary
JOHANNESBURG - Former President Jacob Zuma's bid to privately prosecute President Cyril Ramaphosa has no grounds for consideration of the ANC step-aside rule.
This is according to the Secretary of the ANC’s Electoral Committee Livhuwani Matsila.
Zuma's foundation says Ramaphosa is being charged as an accessory for breaching the provisions of the NPA Act.
That's in connection with the prosecutor in Zuma's corruption trial, whom the former president accuses of leaking his medical records.
