New self-care vending machines launched
JOHANNESBURG - It's the country's first Self-care Wellness vending machine, launched to curb teenage pregnancies.
The machines are stocked with oral contraceptives and HIV prevention tools, and will be strategically placed in high-traffic, public areas across South Africa.
Deputy Minister of Health, Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo unveiled this initiative on Wednesday, along with Eastern Cape Health MEC, Nomakhosazana Meth.
