BOCHABELA- Friends and family have bid a final farewell to Constable Cebekhulu Linda.
He was one of the three police officers whose bodies were found in the Hennops River last week.
His sister Angela Linda speaking at the funeral taking place in Bochabela, Free State said the first day he went missing was the most difficult.
This as she had to face the reality of living in a world without her brother.

She described his death as one that left her shattered.
"On the day that the confirmation came that you were gone I was shattered. When you took your last breath you took a part of me with you... I know a big brother's love because of you.." she said.
Also sharing fond memories of Cebekhula, a friend Kabelo Molatidi said he was still expecting a lot of things from Cebekhulu AKA 'MaCebes'.
"He had only just begun, he was only getting started, the shock of his departure still sits heavy on my heart. Today i rise to honor this beautiful soul,' he said.
