JOHANNESBURG - E-hailing drivers are set to embark on a national strike over working conditions.

This follows recent protests in Johannesburg.

The drivers accuse e-hailing companies of unfair commission rates and unprofitable fares, among other issues.

National e-Hailing Federation of South Africa's deputy secretary general, Sthembiso Khanyezi says the commission is being charged now compared to five years ago difficult'

"Low at the cost of fuel and the low fees they offer. That alone frustrates the driver," he says.
