JOHANNESBURG - The citrus industry has delivered a record-breaking 203.4 million cartons for export this season.
This is a 22 percent increase from 2024 and far exceeding April’s estimates.
Strong demand overseas, favourable weather, and improved logistics helped drive this growth, but industry leaders warn that challenges like tariffs, rising costs, and market access remain a concern.
