JOHANNESBURG - A disturbing incident has shocked the country.
A Bloubergstrand couple was arrested for sexually abusing and using their daughters for child pornography.
The children aged 3 and 8 have been moved to a place of safety.
But that safe place should have been their home.
And, these two girls are not alone, with many children facing pain and abuse in what is meant to be a sanctuary.
Save the Children SA's Gugu Xaba said our morals as a country have degenerated to a terrible extent.
"When you look at the outcomes of our own behaviour as parents, as brothers and sisters, it's shocking," she said.
