JOHANNESBURG - The Constitutional Court has dismissed Jacob Zuma and his MK Party’s urgent bid, to invalidate President Cyril Ramaphosa’s decision to place Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, on special leave.
By extension, the party has failed to block the appointment of Firoz Cachalia as acting police minister, and the Madlanga commission of inquiry into the SAPS.

The court ruled that neither Zuma nor the party had made a case for direct access.
