DURBAN - Police Minister, Senzo Mchunu, is currently on special leave after he was implicated in corruption by the Kwazulu Natal Police Commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.

He’s attracted more attention recently for controversial comments.
According to translations of comments at an ANC event last Friday, he said "the ANC appointed black generals so that we also have generals in the army and in the police."
"They should not trample on this opportunity they were given by the ANC."
