It comes after the Commission set down 17 September as its start date and started engaging with its first proposed witness, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
The Commission is in respond to claims made by the Kwazulu-Natal Provincial Police Commissioner that top cops and security officials are interfering in investigations and linked to criminals.
The parliamentary ad-hoc committee is investigating the very same claims wants Mkhwanazi to testify before it.
Member and EFF leader Julius Malema said last week that he can’t dictate when he comes and should be summoned.
Political analyst, Dr Mpumelelo Mkhabela discussed these conflicting influences with eNCA.
