Teacher burnout in South Africa hits crisis levels

JOHANNESBURG - Teacher burnout is reaching crisis levels across South Africa, with educators warning they’re stretched to the breaking point.

Overcrowded classrooms, soaring workloads, and no money to hire new teachers mean that teachers are exhausted and students are paying the price.
