He was speaking at the ANC's 2019 Manifesto Review wrap-up. This is the run-up to general elections next year.

With the 2024 general elections fast approaching, the ruling party continues this campaign, to engage South Africans on the advancements it has made, and problems that remain from four years ago.
Ramaphosa admitted that the ruling party has been facing challenges but they have been able to build houses for the needy, as well as give land to small-scale farmers and gave free education to thousands of tertiary students.
