PRETORIA - Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos says cutting down the squad to 26-man was not an easy task.
He was speaking ahead of naming his final Bafana Bafana squad on Wednesday night, where he added two uncapped players while keeping the tried and test core of the team.
The Kaizer Chiefs trio of Lebohang Maboe, Thabo Monyane and Brandon Petersen have missed out, as did Thapelo Morena of Mamelodi Sundowns.

Patrick Maswanganyi and Brooklyn Poggenpoel have also been dropped after they were included in the preliminary squad.
"It's a World Cup, who doesn't want to go to the World Cup. I know how the players who have not been selected feel, but there are very difficult decisions and it is always when you select players. It is part of the job and I hope I chose the right players," Broos said.
