Springboks hit by injury crises

CAPE TOWN - The Springboks' preparations for the international season have been dealt a blow.

A host of players have been side-lined with injury.

The growing casualty list will give coach Rassie Erasmus plenty to consider as he finalises his plans for the upcoming campaign.

The eight injured players are Lood De Jager, Aphelele Fassi, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, Ethan Hooker, Cobus Reinach, Kwagga Smith, RG Snyman, and Morne Van Den Berg.

The Boks open the season against the Barbarians on 20 June before the Nations Championship gets under way in July.
