BLOEMFONTEIN - Springbok scrumhalf Faf de Klerk is heading home. The double World Cup winner is set to join the Cheetahs.
The Free State side have confirmed the high‑profile signing, announcing that De Klerk will join the franchise on a two‑year deal from June.

With more than 60 Test caps and back‑to‑back World Cup titles to his name, the Cheetahs will welcome his experience intensity and leadership.
De Klerk moves from Japan where he has played for the Yokohama Canon Eagles since 2022 while also enjoying over 100 caps for the Sale Sharks in the English Premiership.
