JOHANNESBURG - The first silverware of the season is nearing its business end, with the MTN8 Cup semi-final second legs taking place this weekend.
Orlando Pirates are chasing a record fifth straight MTN8 title. The Buccaneers face Sekhukhune United for the third time in as many matches, having won last weekend’s first leg 1-0.
Sekhukhune then travelled to Orlando Stadium to face Pirates in a midweek Betway Premiership clash, losing 2-0. Ba Bina Noko will be looking to upset the Sea Robbers and book their place in the final.
In the other semi-final, Mamelodi Sundowns must overturn a one-goal deficit against Golden Arrows,
as they look to end their domestic trophy drought.
