Liverpool powered seven points clear at the top of the Premier League as the title favourites survived a scare in their 3-1 win against Leicester, while Bruno Fernandes was sent off in Manchester United's dismal 2-0 defeat at lowly Wolves.

Both sides had chances to win it in a wild finale, but it was Fulham who took theirs in the 95th minute to claim a famous victory.

Left-hander Williams, who made his Test debut against the West Indies in 2013, struck three sixes and nine fours off 161 deliveries for his fifth century.

Winners of the last four Premier League titles, the English champions have won just once in their last 13 games in all competitions.

Dane Paterson took five for 61 -– his second five-wicket haul in successive Tests -– and debutant Corbin Bosch took four for 63.
