JOHANNESBURG - A four-year-old Eldorado Park girl, who was allegedly abused by her father, died on Friday
The 32-year-old was arrested after neighbours called the police, alleging he was abusing his children.
The girl and a little boy were found in a shack behind a house after they broke into the structure.
The girl had visible head injuries, bruises and a swollen eye.
She was rushed to the hospital, and the father was arrested after failing to explain what had happened.

The father appeared in court on Friday for the abuse and was charged with attempted murder.
However, the charge has now been changed to murder, with a rape charge added to the sheet.
The girl's mother has also been arrested for failing to protect the child and defeating the ends of justice.
Reports suggest that she was aware of the abuse towards the girl.
