Apartheid-era Crimes | Khampepe announces extra consultative meeting

PRETORIA - PRETORIA - The chairperson of the TRC Cases Inquiry, Justice Sisi Khampepe, has announced a further preparatory consultative meeting for those who did not participate in the truth commission processes.

People who failed to make full disclosures regarding their participation will also be part of the meeting.

At a briefing on Tuesday, Khampepe said it's in the interest of justice that the victims and their families find closure in the inquiry process.

eNCA reporter Silindelo Masikane sat down with Edgar Mushwana, the cousin of ANC activist Ignatius Mthebule, who went missing in 1987. 

Mthebule was reportedly handed over to apartheid police by an ally at a restaurant in Hillbrow, Johannesburg. His whereabouts are unknown to this day.
