Budget doesn't fit Madlanga Commission of Inquiry objectives - Advocate Motau

JOHANNESBURG - The former chief evidence leader at the Madlanga Commission, Terry Motau says he had concerns about the budget allocated to the commission.

Motau resigned from his position this past Tuesday and has been replaced by advocate Matthew Chaskalson SC.

The budget is amongst other administrative issues that Motau highlighted as reasons for his resignation.

But the advocate has asked people to not question the credibility of the inquiry. He asserts the common goal should be to verify the allegations made by the KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.

Motau had a sit down with eNCA's Heidi Giokos to speak on the reasons for him to step-down from the commission of inquiry.
