Electricity Minister welcomes appointment of Eskom CEO

PRETORIA - The Electricity Minister welcomed the appointment of Dan Marokane as new Eskom CEO.

Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says he's looking forward to working with him to stabilise the utility.

Ramokgopa said leadership stability is key in fighting the energy crisis.

"We’re looking forward to Mr Marokane’s contribution together with the totality of the executive committee of Eskom," the minister said.
