PRETORIA - Suspended police sergeant Fannie Nkosi will remain behind bars.
The state has been granted a postponement to verify his bail information.
He faces charges of theft, defeating the ends of justice, possession of unlicensed ammunition and a hand grenade.

Nkosi was arrested on Friday after a raid on his Pretoria home, where police also seized case dockets among other items.
Nkosi is a member of the Gauteng Organised Crime Unit and testified before the Madlanga Commission.
His testimony implicated himself and senior police officials with ties to organised crime figures.
