Gauteng Health lay criminal complaint against 'Dr Lani'

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Health has laid a criminal complaint against Matthew Lani.

He's also known as Matthew Zingelwa or Sanele Zingelwa or Bongani Zingelwa.

The alleged bogus doctor has a huge following on social media.

The Department says he claimed on social media to be working at Helen Joseph Hospital.

But, they only found a Dr Sanele Zingelwa, a second-year medical intern at Tembisa Provincial Hospital.

The Department says the only time they worked with Lani was last year June during a Youth Month campaign. Lani has previously stated he graduated from Wits University and attended Cambridge International College. But both institutions have released statements saying he was never affiliated with either of them.
