KZN Premier demands answers from health and education MECs

DURBAN - KwaZulu-Natal Premier Thami Ntuli has requested detailed reports from his Health and Education MECs following allegations of misconduct. 

Education MEC, Sipho Hlomuka is said to have rigged a multimillion-rand tender to supply food to schools.

Meanwhile, Health MEC, Nomagugu Simelane, allegedly pressured a local radio station to fire a popular presenter or risk losing advertising from her department. 

While the MECs have denied the allegations, Ntuli says he expects a response regarding the allegations by Monday.
