WATCH: Madlanga Commission and Ad Hoc Committee fight over Mkhwanazi
The commission is now set to begin hearings on 17 September.
President Cyril Ramaphosa established the inquiry after damning claims by KZN Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
He asserts that police and the highest levels of government have been infiltrated by criminal syndicates.
Mkhwanazi has implicated top police officials and government ministers in alleged organised crime.
