JOHANNESBURG - The 121 dockets at the centre of explosive allegations of police corruption will remain with the KZN political killings task team.
But copies have been made to be used by the Madlanga Commission.
Police say it's in the interest of justice that investigations continue.
Acting Police Minister, Firoz Cachalia, met with National Police Commissioner, Fannie Masemola on Monday and released a joint statement on Tuesday.
Cachalia had called for a meeting with the police commissioner to clarify and affirm their respective roles, with Cachalia having executive authority and Masemola having operational authority.
