JOHANNESBURG - Defence Minister Angie Motshekga said there are no plans to deploy soldiers on the 30th of June.
This comes as several anti-illegal migration marches are expected to take place, with organisers calling for undocumented foreign nationals to leave the country.

Motshekga said the army would not be required, saying that the marches are not a declaration of war.
"People are protected by law to march. All they have to do is conduct the march according to the law. They have to give the numbers they're expecting, their marshals, their routes, and that should be peaceful," said Motshekga.
Motshekga said she expects organisers to be responsible at all times.
