DURBAN - Police are raiding multiple properties linked to businessman Calvin Mathibeli in Durban.
Last week the Durban High Court ordered Mathibeli to retract and apologise for any statements alleging or implying that KZN Provincial Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi is corrupt, a criminal or abuses police authority.

Mkhwanazi previously said that the claims were personal attacks, labelling him a criminal and questioning his integrity.
These were accusations he strongly denied.
In a post on Facebook that has been widely shared, Mathibeli, the owner of Calvin and Family Security Services, launched an attack on Mkhwanazi and the KZN police, claiming they were captured by his competitors.
He further alluded that Mkhwanazi had issued an instruction that he should be shot and killed.
