CAPE TOWN - The Economic Freedom Fighters say they will not allow Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee investigating police corruption to become a mere box-ticking exercise.
That’s the firm promise from EFF leader Julius Malema, who delivered the keynote address during the party’s 12th anniversary celebrations in Khayelitsha, Cape Town.
The National Assembly agreed to establish an ad hoc committee to investigate claims of corruption and collusion between criminals and law enforcement agencies.
MPs adopted a report from the Police and Justice Portfolio Committees.
No political party rejected the motion.
