JOHANNESBURG - A second Woolworths store has been rocked by an explosion.
The latest blast occurred at the Preller Square Shopping Centre branch in Bloemfontein, Free State, on Friday.
It follows Thursday’s explosion at the Woolworths in Menlyn Park Shopping Centre, Pretoria.

Police spokesperson, Brigadier Athlenda Mathe, said specialised police units have been deployed to investigate the two explosions
"Investigations are currently at a very early stage and all possible motives are being explored by investigators. At this stage, it would be premature to classify the incidents as acts of terrorism," she said.
Authorities are assessing the situation as investigations unfold.
"Any additional security measures, including monitoring around affected or related premises, will be informed by ongoing investigations and threat assessments. The public is urged to remain calm and allow investigators space to conduct their work," Mathe said.
