Space muffin suspects behind bars

JOHANNESBURG - The case of the primary school pupils who were admitted to hospital, after eating muffins laced with marijuana, is tricky according to the National Prosecuting Authority, because most of the victims are very young.

This follows the incident where two men sold so-called space muffins to primary pupils in Soshanguve.

About 90 school children were rushed to hospital and were later discharged.

The NPA's Lumka Mahajana says it will not be an easy task to collect statements.
